Tom Casey first founded a company called Old Sod Travel to provide high-end, specialized trips to Ireland. The company quickly added Scotland, England, Wales and golf to its itineraries based on customer demand. Today, Tom’s companies each specialize in destinations across Europe to provide a high level of service and travel opportunities. Our travel consultants are trained in both the destinations of their specialty and the travel philosophy we adhere to, creating a distinct travel experience for our clients across Europe. Our passion for the countries, culture and their incredible scenic beauty is matched only by our passion for helping our clients experience it for themselves.

The Sancho Panza Travel team is focused solely on highly customized travel to Spain and Portugal. This allows us to identify the best hotels and guesthouses, and to know the owners personally. We started as a small, independent business that built an outstanding reputation for service and for designing the perfect vacation for our clients. We have since grown, adding an international office in Ireland in addition to sister brands bringing trips to Scandinavian and Nordic countries, Spain and Portugal. Why was Tom’s first company named Old Sod Travel? In earlier times, Irish Americans returning home referred to their birthplace as the “Old Sod.” Today, Old Sod Travel is dedicated to connecting groups, families, companies, couples and golfers from around the world with extraordinary experiences on the Old Sod and the British Isles.
